(WINNER OF "THE ECLIPSE AWARD-2000")
RIBOLETTA, winner of "THE ECLIPSE AWARD-2000", for "best filly or mare, 4-year-olds and up", honoring the Horses of the Year and other champions of the sport, won 7 graded races in the U.S.A. in the West and East coasts (5 Gr.1 and 2 Gr.2). She also won, between other races, the "Grande Prêmio Diana" in São Paulo (Brazilian Oaks), Gr.1. RIBOLETTA (by Roi Normand), was the best female in training in all the world in the year 2000! She started as big favourite in the "Breeder's Cup Distaff - 2000".
Note: The "Haras Santa Ana do Rio Grande", in Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, also bred the mother JOY VALLEY and the grandmother BELLE VALLEY. Fantastic! RIBOLETTA is the second best mare ever bred in Brazil, after IMMENSITY. She has a total of 13 wins (8 in United States and 5 in Brazil), 3 seconds and 3 thirds, in 28 starts. From the total of her 13 wins, 10 are GROUP RACES (6 Gr.1, 3 Gr.2 and 1 Gr.3).
She retired to the stud, 2001.
